Position summary:

The transport officer will be a part of administrative team and will take care of direct operations related to transport.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

– Act as transportation unit first gate of receiving dispatch /transfers notes in order to start proceed with transporters process.  

– Coordinate with sales/customers/agents/planning/production/storekeepers in order to solve their transport operations issues.

– Address and solve transport problems and coordinate with respective parties to assist in the possess.      

– Coordinate with transporters to insure pickup /offloading process / locations are covering the right areas.

– Handling of dispatch /transfer notes along with the generation of BL number and submit it to the transporter. 

– Support Dal group transport operations. 

– Receive, review, check and process of all transporter’s claims (Volume transported, Freights paid and rates verification).     

– Handles any damage/lost goods which are reported on the road/at destination and deducts from transporters claim. 

– Follow up with finance team to ensure completion of PO process. 

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

– Bachelor’s degree from any relevant filed .

2.Production Planner

Position summary:

The Planner contributes to the success of the business by organizing and implementing production work timelines and goals to ensure customer fulfillment and facility capability. Collaborating with purchasing to ensure timely material availability, and anticipate delays. Analyzing and resolving scheduling issues that would cause production delays.Creating, coordinating and managing the Production and manufacturing plan working with various functions throughout the business. This will include planning, scheduling, plant operations activities and performance, coordinating and forecasting, as they relate to the plan. He or She will balance supply and capacity with demand to meet customer service objectives.                       

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

– Production Planning, Production performance reporting .

– Manufacturing Module accuracy and control .

– Material requirement planning and effectiveness of Sales &Operations planning cycle .

– Production Planning:
    1.Plan, schedule, prepare and execute production. Plan material requirements and revise production schedules to meet customer demand.
    2.Maintain inventory levels supporting Demand, production and customer requirements while maintaining economic control of inventories.
    3.Analyze the capacity overloads at work center and shift the orders to avoid any capacity bottlenecks.
    4.Establish and improve work systems through studying facility layout, work methods and work flows.
– Production Performance Reporting:
     1.Optimize machine O.E.E. and ensures BOM accuracy through manufacturing modules of ERP and performance management systems.
     2.Maintains productive relationships with Production, technical, engineering ,supply chain, finance and Customer Service.
     3.Responsible for reports regarding capacity requirements, backlog status, order priorities, raw material requirements, performance ,costing and shop floor reporting.
     4.Works with Commercial Finance teams to develop the production overhead and production costs reports.

– Manufacturing Module Accuracy & Control:

      1.Establishing policies (SOP’s) and procedures for updating database components in ERP and Planning systems.
      2.Establish SOP’s to maintain operational Bills of materials and Routings – key to drive business performance and productivity.
      3.Recognize and rectify or report changes or trends likely to affect good customer service or production throughput.
Control manufacturing module in Sage and prepare and update BOMs and follow up on production warehouses stock accuracy and stock takes.
      4.Develop and circulate Manufacturing Reports for all Manufacturing Performance KPI’s ( Yield, Waste, Extraction etc..).

– Continuous Improvement:

     1.Provides continuous improvement and generate new ideas for the job’s; role, activities, tools, products, process, systems, policies, plans…etc.
     2.Continuously improve job relevant customer services at all times.                        
     3.Explore creative approaches, practical solutions to solve problems and seek diverse solution to work issues.
     4.Proactively takes steps to influence or promote positive culture change at all times.

      5.Minimize, manage and eliminate all types of job waste and adopt lean/kaizen practices and approaches when and as necessarily.

– Complete any other assignments or responsibilities as defined by management on a daily or continuing basis.

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

  • – Bachelor’s degree from any relevant field .
  • –  Training  or certificates for  ERP ,  SAGE, SAP, Asset Management, Onkey 4.
