Position summary:
To supervise overall MMD financial transactions to ensure timely and accurate documation , recording and controlling over them and accodingly provide reliable reports to facilitate taking efficient & effective deceisions.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise the daily deposit of chqs at banks & ensure poper booking & reporting of cash position
Audit the payments & ensure adequate documentation , authorization & accurate bookingReview the monthly bank reconciliation & ensue timely clearance of outstanding items
Conduct Fixed asset & inventory verification( physical vs book) periodically & ensure proper adjusment of variancies.
Prepare the staff salary sheet sent to bank twice a month & any other payments & ensure timely credit to staff accounts.
Supervise the daily work of accountant & appraise his/her performance periodically.
Lead timely collection of monthly rent invoices from customers and ensure proper recording at & reconciliation of / customers accounts.
Contribute on the preparation of the company monthly Financials reports
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
Qualification: Graduate Degree in Accounting & Finance Professional Certification in AccountingAccredited Professional Membership Experience: Minimum 5 years work experience in Accounting & Finance

Position summary:
To ensure recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets, in order to maintain proper fixed assets controls and utilization.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Capex Budget control:
- Ensure that the fixed assets requested/ordered are budgeted for to ensure a proper capex budget control.
- New Accounts Creation:
- Create the new asset number (code) after reviewing the supporting documents considering the fixed assets categories and depreciation rates in order to maintain DG policy and standards
- Fixed Assets Movement:
- Follow the fixed assets acquisition ,movement, lending and disposal in order to maintain an updated fixed assets register all the time.
- Reporting:
- Provide a monthly report for fixed assets movement showing the gain or losses on those disposed items. Moreover, quarterly reports are required to enable HODs reviewing their assets registers.
- FA Verification:
- Conduct periodic physical counts, verification and coding of fixed assets to ensure a proper control and utilization for the fixed assets.
- Archive:
- Maintain a proper filing system that enables getting documents easily when needed.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Qualification:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting & Finance and/or Business Administration
- Certified Accountant (ACCA/CPA) – Preferable.
- Experience:
- Minimum 4+ years experience in Finance within a corporate environment
- Minimum 3+ years experience in Accounts within a complex environment
